Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi – The capital city of India is a sprawling modern metropolis with a stunning backdrop of ancient architecture. Check in to your designated Hotel. Day is free to relax after a long flight. Overnight stay at Delhi.

 


Day 02: Sightseeing of Old & New Delhi

Enjoy sightseeing tour of Delhi, start the day with an orientation tour of Old Delhi, enjoy a drive pass through the magnificent Red Fort constructed by the Great Mughal emperor Shahjahan in1638-48 AD, Jama Masjid Mosque, the largest mosque in India, constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan between 1644- 56 AD. After old Delhi sightseeing head to New Delhi and visit Rajghat- memory place of Mahatma Gandhi, India Gate – The memorial was built to commemorate the Indian and British soldiers who died in World War I and the Afghan wars. The names of Martyrs are inscribed on the walls of the memorial, Rashtrapati Bhawan – the official residence of the President of India with 340 rooms, it is the largest residence of any Head of the state of the world. In the afternoon visit the Qutub Minaret built in 1193 AD it is the highest stone tower in India. Delhi sightseeing tour ends with a visit to the Lotus Temple – an architectural marvel of the Bahai faith. The lotus shaped Temple is set among pools and the Gardens, which gives an impression of a floating half open lotus flower surrounded by its outspread leaves. Overnight stay at Delhi.

Day 03: Fly to Varanasi

Fly to Varanasi - oldest living city in the world and most sacred in Hinduism. Arrive and check in to designated Hotel in Varanasi. Evening participate in the grand Aarti ceremony on sacred ghats of Ganges. Overnight stay at Varanasi.

 


Day 04: Varanasi Sightseeing & Excursion to Sarnath

Morning start the day with a boat ride on the holy river Ganges to experience early sacred rituals and offerings on Ghats. After breakfast enjoy temple and city tour of Varansi visiting, Durga Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, Bharat Mata Temple and Benaras Hindu University. Later in the day enjoy excursion tour to Sarnath – 10 Kms from Varanasi, where Lord Buddha preached his sermon after attaining enlightment. Visit Dhamekh Stupa built by Emperor Ashok in 249 BC and Chaukhandi Stupa built in 5th century AD, Sarnath Archaeological Museum has an impressive collection of artifacts collected from the excavation site of Sarnath, including India’s national emblem- the Ashoka Chakra. Day 05: Fly to Khajuraho & Khajuraho Sightseeing

Today fly to Khajuraho. Temple Complex of Khajuraho - a UNESCO world heritage site famous for its Kamasutra temples are India’s unique gift to the world. These Temple were constructed between ninth and tenth century and highlights the existential ethos in religion that venerates yoga and bhoga. Yoga is the union of the self with the Almighty, while bhoga is the path to God through physical pleasures. The temples at Khajuraho, dedicated to physical love and pleasure, are a testimony to this philosophy. Out of 85 original temples 22 have survived till today to constitute one of the greatest artistic wonders of the world. Day 06: Transfer to Agra. Enroute visit Orchha

Drive to Orchha a quiet hamlet, which means “hidden place” it is 174 Kms from Khajuraho. Situated on the banks of River Betwa, Orchha is noted for its scenic beauty, and no doubt historical structures of Orchha are a witness to its glorious past and retains its medieval charm. Enjoy sightseeing tour of Orchha visiting Jahangir Palace – A tiered palace, crowned with graceful domed pavilions, Raj Mahal another Palace famous for its stunning beauty, The Sheesh Mahal, Raja Ram Temples, Chaturbhuj Temple and Laxminarayan Temple. Later transfer to Jhansi Railway station to board the super fast train to Agra - the capital of Mughal Empire and the city of Taj Mahal –one of the seven wonders of the world. Day 07: Sightseeing of Tajmahal & Agra

Start the day with a visit to the glorious Tajmahal, a white marble mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal, who died during Childbirth, the great Love bond inspired Shah Jahan to construct Taj Mahal - the greatest memory ever built for Love, it took not less than 22 years and work force of 20000 skilled laborer’s and jewelers in the construction of the monument .The fact about Taj Mahal is that it changes its color depending upon the intensity of light falling on it. Later in the day enjoy half day sightseeing tour of Agra, visiting massive Agra fort constructed in 1565 AD and Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb described as Jewel Box or Baby Taj. Day 08: Drive to Jaipur .Visit to Fatehpur Sikri

Today head to Pink city Jaipur is the capital of the historical and royal state of Rajasthan. The city is remarked for its marvelous architecture, culture, Cuisine and lively spirit of the people.Jaipur is 235 Kms from Agra. Enroute visit the ruined city of Fatehpur Sikri which was the capital of India between 1571-81 AD. The greatest Mughal Emperor Akbar shifted his capital from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri as a mark of respect to the famous Sufi saint Sheikh Salim Chisti, who had predicted the birth of his son. Later the capital was shifted back to Agra because of scarcity of water at Fatehpur Sikri. Evening enjoy mouth-watering delicious Rajasthani cuisine with live folk dance program at famous city restaurant at Jaipur. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

 


Day 09: Jaipur & Amber Fort Sightseeing

Morning visit stunning hill fort of Amber constructed in 1592 AD, an Elephant back ride like a royal king will reach you to the vibrant entrance of the Amber fort. Enjoy visit to breathtaking palaces, complexes, halls, pavilions and Gardens at Amber fort. Later enjoy half day city tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace complex –houses an imposing collection of Rajasthani art Jewellery, enamelware, carpets, tremendous range of miniature paintings, armory and thousands of ancient manuscripts preserved from the royal family’s private collections, The Observatory – built between 1727-34 AD is a noteworthy collection of traditional astronomical instruments, and the spectacular Hawamahal or the Palace of winds built in 1799 AD allowed the royal ladies to see the street procession with its 953 small niche windows. Day 10: Jaipur – Pushkar drive. Pushkar Sightseeing

Drive to holy city of Pushkar famous for the only temple in India dedicated to Lord Brahma – The creator God as per Hindu Mythology. Day 11: Drive to Udaipur

Day 12: Udaipur Sightseeing

Start the day with visit to City Palace – a white marble sprawling architectural wonder topped by domed pavilions and cupolas at different levels, other visits of your Udaipur sightseeing includes Sahelion Ki Bari or the Garden of Maidens which is well laid out with extensive lawns and shady walks, Jagdish Temple is the largest temple in Udaipur and is a fine example of Indo-Aryan architecture. Day 13: Udaipur – Jodhpur Drive. Enroute visit Ranakpur
Drive to Sun city – Jodhpur, second largest city in Rajasthan. Jodhpur is 250 Kms from Udaipur.
On way visit beautifully sculptured Jain Temple complex of Ranakpur. The temple constructed with creamy marble and supported by 1444 exceptionally carved pillars, no two being alike. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.

 


Day 14: Jodhpur Sightseeing. Drive to Jaisalmer

Day 15: Jaisalmer Sightseeing. Transfer to Sam Sand Dunes

Enjoy sightseeing tour of spectacular Jaisalmer visiting Jaisalmer Fort built of golden Jurassic stone. The awesome citadel was constructed in 1156 AD and is second oldest fort of Rajasthan. Day 17: Bikaner Sightseeing and Excursion to Karni Mata Temple

Start the sightseeing of royal city Bikaner with visit to Junagarh Fort constructed in 1593 AD by Raja Rai Singh, the fort has the enviable reputation of never been conquered or seized, Prachina Museum housed in the Junagarh fort exhibits a rich collection of royal costumes, textiles and accessories. Day 18: Drive to Mandawa & Sightseeing of Mandawa

Drive to Mandawa located in the heart of Shekhawati famous for its wall frescoes painting and is often referred as open air gallery of Rajasthan. Havelies or prosperous Mansions of Mandawa are adorned with gaily painted murals that illuminate the arid landscape. Arrive Mandawa and visit Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Bansidhar Nevatia Haveli, Sheh Ram Ladia Haveli, and Goenka Haveli. Overnight stay at Mandawa.

 


Day 19: Drive to Delhi Airport
Transfer to Delhi -240 from Mandawa, arrive Delhi and in time transfer to Delhi Airport for your flight back to Home / Next Destination.
