Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi – This capital city of India is a sprawling modern metropolis with a stunning backdrop of ancient architecture. Check in to your designated Hotel. Day is free to relax after a long flight. Overnight stay at Delhi.


Day 02: Sightseeing of Old & New Delhi. Overnight train to Varanasi

Enjoy sightseeing tour of Delhi, start the day with an orientation tour of Old Delhi, enjoy a drive pass through the magnificent Red Fort constructed by the Great Mughal emperor Shahjahan in1638-48 AD, Jama Masjid Mosque, the largest mosque in India, constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan between 1644- 56 AD. After old Delhi sightseeing head to New Delhi and visit Rajghat- memory place of Mahatma Gandhi, India Gate – The memorial was built to commemorate the Indian and British soldiers who died in World War I and the Afghan wars. The names of Martyrs are inscribed on the walls of the memorial, Rashtrapati Bhawan – the official residence of the President of India with 340 rooms, it is the largest residence of any Head of the state of the world. In the afternoon visit the Qutub Minaret built in 1193 AD it is the highest stone tower in India. Delhi sightseeing tour ends with a visit to the Lotus Temple – an architectural marvel of the Bahai faith. The lotus shaped Temple is set among pools and the Gardens, which gives an impression of a floating half open lotus flower surrounded by its outspread leaves. Evening board the overnight train to Varanasi.

Day 03: Sarnath Sightseeing.

Morning arrive Varanasi and transfer to your pre booked Hotel. After little relax enjoy excursion tour to Sarnath. – 10 Kms from Varanasi, where Lord Buddha preached his sermon after attaining enlightenment. Visit Dhamekh Stupa built by Emperor Ashok in 249 BC, Chaukhandi Stupa built in 5th century AD and the Sarnath Archaeological Museum having an impressive collection of artifacts collected from the excavation site of Sarnath, including India’s national emblem- the Ashoka Chakra. Overnight stay at Varanasi.





Day 04: Morning Boat ride on River Ganges. Drive to Bodhgaya

Morning enjoy boat ride on holy river Ganges to experience early sacred Hindu rituals and offerings on Ghats of Ganges. After breakfast drive to Bodhgaya most sacred town in Buddhism and place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment beneath the famous Bo tree. Bodhgaya is 240 Kms from Varanasi.Overnight stay at Bodhgaya.

Day 05: Bodhgaya Sightseeing. Drive to Rajgir

Enjoy sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya visiting Mahabodhi Temple – The main shrine of Supreme enlightenment is a world Heritage Site, housing a large gilded image of Buddha. A Bodhi tree which is a distant offshoot of the one under which Buddha attained enlightenment, is in the rear west of the temple complex attracts a lot of scholars and meditators,Animesh Lochana Temple, Massive Buddhist Dharma Chakra, Lotus tank, Archaeological Museum, Thai Temple, Gelugpa Tibetan Monastery, Daijokyo Monastery, Indosan Nipponji Temple, Bhutanese Monastery and Giant Buddha Statue. Drive to Rajjgir, 80 Kms from Bodhgaya it is a small market town that once witnessed the meditations and teachings of Buddha. Overnight stay at Rajgir.



Day 06: Rajgir Sightseeing. Drive to Patna. Enroute visit Nalanda.

Today enjoy sightseeing tour of Rajgir visiting Venuvana – the bamboo brake where the Buddha and his disciples lived, Karnada Tank – where Buddha used to bathe , Jivakamarvana the orchard presented by physician Jivaka, Griddakuta Hill ( The hill of Vultures) from where Buddha delivered his sermons,Sattapani cave, where the first Buddhist Council was convened, World peace Stupa, Nipponzan Myohiji Japanese temple. Drive to Patna, 110 Kms enroute visiting the ancient town of Nalanda the home of Ancient Nalanda University established in 5th Century BC that attracted thousands of international students and teachers until it was sacked by the Afgan invader Bhaktiar Khilji in the 12th century. The University of Nalanda offered free educational and residential facility to as many as 10000 students and 2000 teachers. Nalanda Sightseeing includes visits to Ruins of Nalanda Ancient University, Ancient Stupas and Chaityas or prayer halls, Nalanda Museum, Nava Nalanda Mahavira Research centre. Overnight stay at Patna.

Day 07: Drive to Kushinagar. Enroute Visit Vaishali

Drive to Kushinagar, where Buddha finally attained Mahaparinirvana – the final liberation from death and rebirth. Kushinagar is 255 Kms from Patna. Enroute visit Vaishali was the site of the Buddha’s last sermon. It is believed that Vaishali was the first state to practice democracy in the world. Visit archeological museum – provides glimpse into the ancient Buddhist world, Buddhist Stupas, Ashokan pillar erected by the Mauryan Empire around 273-232 BC to commemorate the site of Buddha’s last sermon. Arrive Kushinagar and enjoy sightseeing tour of Kushinagar, visiting Mahaparinirwana Temple housing the 6 meter long gilded reclining Buddha, Ramabhar Stupa, referred as Mukutbandhan stupa in ancient Buddhist text, erected to mark the spot where Buddha was cremated. Other places to visit in Kushinagar are the striking Japanese Temple and the elegant Thai monastery. Overnight stay at Kushinagar.


Day 08: Drive to Lumbini. Lumbini Sightseeing

Drive to Lumbini, birth place of Lord Buddha is 120 Kms from Kushinagar. Arrive Lumbini and check in to your pre booked Hotel. After freshen up proceed for sightseeing tour of Lumbini visiting Ashokan Pillar built by King Ashoka in 259 BC and Maya Devi Temple dedicated to Maya devi, Buddha’s mother. Overnight stay at Lumbini.


Day 09: Drive to Sravasti. Enroute visit Kapilvastu
Drive to ancient town of Sravasti which has the honor of sheltering the Buddha for 24 rainy seasons in the Jetvana Gardens. Sravasti is 260 Kms from Lumbini. On the way visit Kapilvastu – The Kingdom belonged to Buddha’s father, this was the place where Buddha decided to leave worldly pleasures and decided to look at a life in a new perspective. Enjoy visit to excavated stupa complex of Kapilvastu.Continue to Sravasti for overnight stay.

Day 10: Sravasti Sightseeing. Drive to Lucknow

Morning enjoy sightseeing tour of Sravasti visiting Buddhist site of Maheth and Saheth.Later drive to Lucknow, 240 Kms. Overnight stay at Lucknow.


Day 11: Drive to Agra. Enroute visit Sankasya
Drive to Agra once the capital of Mughal Empire and the city of Taj Mahal –one of the seven wonders of the world. Agra is 300 Kms from Lucknow.On the way visit the famous ancient Buddhist site of Sankasya, continue to Agra. Overnight stay at Agra.

Day 12: Tajmahal Sightseeing. Drive to Jaipur

Morning visit to the glorious Tajmahal, a white marble mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal, who died during Childbirth, the great Love bond inspired Shah Jahan to construct Taj Mahal - the greatest memory ever built for Love, it took not less than 22 years and work force of 20000 skilled laborer’s and jewelers in the construction of the monument .The fact about Taj Mahal is that it changes its color depending upon the intensity of light falling on it. Later head to Pink city Jaipur, 235 Kms from Agra. Jaipur is the capital of the historical and royal state of Rajasthan. The city is remarked for its marvelous architecture, culture, Cuisine and lively spirit of the people. Evening enjoy mouth-watering delicious Rajasthani cuisine with live folk dance program at famous city restaurant. Overnight stay at Jaipur.


Day 13: Jaipur Sightseeing. Excursion to Amber fort

Morning visit stunning hill fort of Amber constructed in 1592 AD, an Elephant back ride like a royal king will reach you to the vibrant entrance of the Amber fort. Enjoy visit to breathtaking palaces, complexes, halls, pavilions and Gardens at Amber fort. Later enjoy half day city tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace complex –houses an imposing collection of Rajasthani art Jewellery, enamelware, carpets, tremendous range of miniature paintings, armory and thousands of ancient manuscripts preserved from the royal family’s private collections, The Observatory – built between 1727-34 AD is a noteworthy collection of traditional astronomical instruments, and the spectacular Hawamahal or the Palace of winds built in 1799 AD allowed the royal ladies to see the street procession with its 953 small niche windows. Day 14: Drive to Delhi Airport
Transfer to Delhi Airport, 236 Kms from Jaipur for your flight back to Home / Next Destination.
